Whatever comes along

=============================

I'm not really much of a blogger, but I figured I'd give it a try. Most the time don't feel like something I do is all that important and feel like I'd be narcissistic posting about my day or life, so will most likely just be reblogs with opinions or something.

But anyways, I'm a Media Arts and Animation for my major and considering getting into Videogame design. I'm having some pretty bad financial trouble. Out house is falling apart and parts in our car need to be replaced as it's how my mom gets to work and if we lose the car then we're prett screwed. Our cat also needs medication for his sinus infection and asthma and we're already struggling just to pay the bills and eat.
If you're able to help, even if it was just $5 you would have otherwise used on a coffee or something else, it'd would be appreciated.
I am in fact actively looking for work, but Sheboygan is a rather small city and while I can take buses around the city and get just about anywhere here in under an hour (usually even less than 30-45 minutes for most areas except for the more outer parts of the city), I am pretty well stuck here with no car myself since mom uses the only (working) car we have to get to work.
Been going through the temp agency too, but not much work there, and there's been more and more people going as well.
So please, anything that can be spared would be helpful so we don't end up with giant holes in the roof, floors, and walls and can fix the car (And right now we need about $300 to fix the brakes and a few other more major problems while hoping the other minor ones don't get worse)

I have interests in healthcare (and at one point I was going to go to school for either Nutrition or Physical Therapy), psychology, and somewhat more recently my interest in politics has grown, though more in the social/people's right aspect of it.

I could be described as a Misanthropic Humanitarian because I both don't like/don't trust people, but I also have an interest in them and want to help others and make society better for everyone (Yes, even the people I don't like that a part of me would like to beat with a club)

Obama pushes small-dollar donors
“If we don’t step it up, we’re in trouble,” the Obama campaign pleaded in a fundraising email Monday that emphasized the threat of “billionaires and super PACs” that are seeking to defeat the president.
The email message also included the graphic above that name-checked casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, who, along with his family, has donated more than $30 million to Republican super PACs so far this election cycle.
GOP-aligned super PACs and nonprofits and Republican party committees have buoyed Mitt Romney’s own presidential bid. Party committees have higher contribution limits than candidates’ campaigns and super PACs and nonprofits have no contribution limits at all.
Thanks to these higher contribution limits, Romney and his Romney Victory Fund — which benefits his campaign and several Republican party groups — has now outraised the president and his joint fundraising operation for three months in a row.
In contrast, President Barack Obama has long sought to mobilize grassroots donors.
According to campaign finance filings with the Federal Election Commission, about 60% of the money that Obama has raised has come in chucks of $200 or less. And about three-fourths of the money Obama has raised has come from people giving less than $1,000.
Romney’s campaign has only relied on donations of $200 or less for about 20 percent of its funding. And more than half of the money Romney has raised has come from people giving at least $2,000, FEC records show.
Federal law prohibits individuals from donating more than $5,000 to either Romney or Obama — that’s $2,500 a piece for their primary and general election funds.

See, this is the problem. The people who support Romney likely have plenty of money to donate. The poorer ones may not even bother because they see the guy’s so well funded anywaysand a good number of people who’d vote for obama are the ones struggling, and may not be even able to donate even $5 because their budget is so tight. If I had money to spare I’d more than happily donate, but I’m not sure I can even really afford putting $5 on my card to do laundry. A few of my clothes I just washed in the bathtub. Didnt turn out that great, but they were still better than they were before.
